Periodontal/Hygiene Services

Good oral health is more than just nice looking teeth!  At Sunrise Dental Arts, we care for your entire mouth.  Dr. Pfeiffer and one of our hygienists will assess your teeth, gums, tongue and cheeks.  That is two pairs of eyes taking care of you!

Regular visits to monitor your mouth for signs of infection or disease should be part of everyone's health care.  A dental hygienist will help you establish an oral care program that is specific to your mouth.

Our dental hygienists will:

• update your medical information
• assess the condition of your teeth and gums and discuss your oral health with you.
• provide dental hygiene therapies including scaling of teeth, removal of stain, taking impressions, whitening proceedures
• take x-rays

Our dental hygienists are registered with the CDHO.  They are trained in standard infection control procedures including the use of masks, gloves, eye protection and sterilization of instruments.
